From forum discoveries to a manual

JJ published software through his Biglobe webpage. MPC-Forums users tested it, compared results and worked out workflows. Stan’s manual brought that knowledge together with material from the developer’s site. The preface credits that collaboration; it does not establish Stan as the person who first discovered JJOS.

In a March 2007 forum post, Stan shared a synchronization tutorial sent by joeybells for the manual. It is a direct example of that exchange.

What happened to the website?

The manual’s dedicated home was jjmanual.wordpress.com. WordPress now says the authors deleted it. MPC-Tutor preserves an Internet Archive link dated 5 April 2015. Archive playback returned a rate limit during our check; we have not recovered or mirrored those pages.

Stan’s manual thread remains readable. Its opening post records the final edition and his October 2009 announcement that his involvement with the manual was ending.

Preservation record

We saved an unchanged copy of the surviving PDF in our site’s private backup archive, with its source and a file fingerprint. The public download above remains credited to MPC-Tutor. No redistribution license was established during this review.

Who Is JJ? The history of JJOS follows the releases, community contributions and competing identity accounts. The manual is historical documentation; its old links, prices and installation details may no longer apply.
