About
CUSTOM MPC is an independent publication about MPC culture: custom builds, straight comparisons between machines, and expansion packs cut for the pads. We cover the hardware the way people actually use it, which means JJOS gets equal billing with the current OS and a fifteen-year-old machine is treated as a real instrument, not a collectible.
How we source
Specs come from official manuals and manufacturer documentation, and claims in articles are cited to where we found them. When sources contradict each other, we print the contradiction instead of picking the convenient number. We sell our own expansion packs, and any article that touches them says so. That is the whole conflict-of-interest disclosure, because that is the whole conflict.
Affiliate relationships
Some parts and gear links are paid affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate relationships do not decide what we cover, change our compatibility warnings, or turn a rotating marketplace listing into an endorsement. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
Contact
The fastest way to reach us is Instagram: @musicproductioncenter. Corrections, build submissions, and builder directory applications all go there for now. If you run a shop that paints, mods, or repairs MPCs, send a DM with photos of your work and we will get you into the directory queue.
